Module 3: This course identifies key elements of school environmental safety and health standards mandated by the various state and federal regulating agencies.  Standards related to asbestos, pest management, lead, radon, air and water quality will be discussed.

Module 8:  This course will provide an overview and directions to participants regarding threats and violence in schools.  Module students will understand the nature and importance of developing a uniform understanding and definition of threats and the processes used in schools to address them.  Instruction and practice will be provided to enable module students to identify and locate threats from a multi-hazard perspective.  Prevention and mitigation of threats and hazards will be addressed.
