COVID Mitigation Strategies:

WSSCA's leadership team (Board of Directors, Advisors, Tom and Stacy) strongly believes that in-person professional development (our annual conference, certification modules and workshops) is incredibly important to our members and to our mission as an association.  As WSSCA prepares for our in-person annual conference in February 2022, providing attendees and exhibitors with a safe and healthy learning environment is a significant priority.  As an organization committed to supporting safety, we take the responsibility of providing a safe environment for our events very seriously.

WSSCA will continue to monitor the status of the pandemic on a regular basis to determine pandemic mitigation measures that will be utilized or required for the conference.  The leadership team is not, at this timeplanning on requiring proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test, or mandating the wearing of masks (the wearing of masks will, however, be strongly encouraged based on current conditions) unless required by the local, state or federal agencies.

WSSCA leadership is working closely with event staff from the Kalahari regarding their on-going pandemic mitigation efforts and to explore logistical options that support a safer environment for our attendees, exhibitors, and presenters.

WSSCA is committed to providing a safe experience at our 2022 Annual Conference.  We are looking forward to a very informative and safe experience for everyone attending the conference.
